Your Position Here :Home »  Vimicro's Web camera processors to enable Web 2.0 applications
China (mainland) – Powered by the latest breakthroughs in A/V processing from the Microsoft-Vimicro Multimedia Technology Center, Vimicro Corp.s VC0336 Web camera processor targets attachable Web cameras and laptop-embedded cameras. This PC camera solution offers a vast array of functions for enhancing Webcam multimedia experiences such as high-definition (HD) video recording, audio recording, auto focus, and audio noise cancellation. It provides a new and enhanced experience to Internet users in the era of Web 2.0, allowing everyday Internet users to create and share video content freely and conveniently.

The VC0336 is noted for its advanced streaming video capabilities critical to some of the latest PCs and laptops requiring high-end Webcam applications. Its video streaming capability of 60fps at 0.3MP resolution, 30fps at 1.3MP and 20fps at 2.0MP, has been instrumental in being adopted in some of the latest products offered by Webcam and laptop vendors.

Moreover, the VC0336, which is based on Vimicro's new high fidelity audio (HFA) and beam-forming technology, supports extremely clear audio conversation regardless of a Webcam user's environment. It is equipped with two high-quality audio channels, which allow Webcams utilizing the processor to sample two streams of audio signals from two different microphones, simultaneously. It supports Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) and is integrated with the newest microphone array technology.
